Just a room... but it's clean. Another review said it best: it's the nicest non-corporate hotel. Always clean. I've only stayed in off season so I can't attest to service when it's full, but I can say the price, cleanliness, parking and location are great. I've stayed here four times. I stay every time I am in Newaygo area and will continue to do so. Call them direct so you don't pay the extra booking fees from third party agencies.

This is a no-frills motel. There is a good sized fridge and a microwave but no coffee maker or hair dryer. Rooms are quite large. Bathroom is good. Beds and pillows are comfortable. Two things impressed me about this place. First of all, the room was very clean. I mean baseboards in the bathroom were clean. The second thing that impressed me was how thoughtful the staff is. I asked for a couple styrofoam coffee cups one day. When they cleaned my room the next day, they were thoughtful enough to leave us more cups. Great place at a reasonable price.

Check in was easy and fast. They even allowed me to check in early! My room was in the back and their is parking right in front of my room. Rooms are clean and spacious. Heat works amazing and quieter than most. But my absolutely favorite part is the Ivys (plants) growing in the office, because I travel with an Ivy.

I stayed here twice, in the last 2 years, for fishing trip accommodation. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Close to everything ( in Newaygo) Last March (2024), we had boat trouble, which caused us to shorten our stay. The manager refunded us the cost of our room for that night. It's our goto for inexpensive lodging. Very accomidating!

This is the best hotel in the area..very clean, water does not smell,/like other hotels in area/ Very easy to check in an vary spacious. I love how the room has nice size fridge and microwave and the ac works perfect can't beat the price or the area..I will definitely be back thank you Oakridge hotel.

We stayed at the oak ridge motel for 2 nights and had a great experience. They met my last-minute request of changing my room to be on the first floor, instead of going upstairs and they were very quick and accommodating. The room was very clean and quiet and it will meet your basic needs. Front desk staff was also so kind! Thanks for a great stay!

Perfect location for what we needed. My girlfriend and I were passing through motorcycle. It was pouring down rain and who wants to set up a tent in the rain so we stopped in here for the night. It is nothing fancy you won’t see a Bentley sitting in the parking lot but for a room that’s under 80 bucks it was perfect . Our room was clean, our bathroom was clean, and our sheets were clean. It was quiet. We slept good. We woke up in the morning and hit the road in the rain to start our new day. I will add that everything about this building is made of cinderblocks so I did have a weird vibe and my girlfriend said if I wasn’t with her, she wouldn’t stay there, Lol….. i’d stay here again with no problem. I wouldn’t recommend all my friends to stay here, but there’s a couple that wouldnt have no problem with it.
